Qualifications

Here’s what you need to do if you’re an OFW:

If you changed your employer or job site and didn’t have BM Online or POPS-BaM records. Or, if you don’t have a valid work visa/permit, set an OEC appointment at the nearest DMW, DOLE-OWWA, or POLO branch.

If you work for an international employer, are employed by a recruitment agency, or work for POEA’s Government Placement Branch (GPB). You can process your OEC online without an appointment. Please write in English.

Booking an OEC Online Appointment

Booking an OEC appointment online is simple. Just use the POEA Online Processing System for Balik Manggagawa (POPS-BaM). Pick your preferred date, time, and location. Process your regular OEC with the help of the designated government worker at the nearest DMW, DOLE-OWWA, or POLO-OWWA branch.

How to Schedule the OEC Online Appointment

Before, you had to use the Balik-Manggagawa (BM) Online System to schedule an OEC appointment. But, since June 2021, the BM online system has been gone. Now, the OEC appointment setting is in the new POPS-BAM system.

Step 1: Go to the DMW website and click on the Balik-Manggagawa Online Service Portal. You can find it here: https://onlineservices.dmw.gov.ph/OnlineServices/POEAOnline.aspx.

Step 11: Enter your job info and press “Submit.”

  • New employer.
  • New job location.
